My tank
Hey boys & girls,,, i read this somewhere, would like to know any info anyone has supporting or denying the theory.....

I've never tried using salt on them coz I dont think so giant channa need salt for antibiotics or for healing, they're quite hardy on their own.

You are correct, you should not use salt too treat snakeheads they have a low tolerance,. It's also true that they have AMAZING healing abilities, in my personal experience the best course of action is too just leave them alone, once injured if not stressed they will recover, small water change just too keep it fresh other than that just keep them happy and comfortable they will heal very rapidly.

If they are so tuff, why would a bit of salt hurt them? Iv heard this salt theory also for rays but haven got a definite answer is it a case of he says she says? My mate uses salt on in his tank with rays, they don't seem to care.

Anyone else heard this? And know if is true or false definitivly???

Fact or fiction?
