Giant Danio experiment

So i have decided to put 3 giant danios in my 60g tank with my 6 inch FH.
Danios are extremely fast, can turn on a dime, and shoal together, so its like they watch out for each other (like having eyes looking in every direction) for these reasons i believe they may stand a chance in the tank.

So far my FH seems to look at them (lock on) for a brief moment and then looses interest because they dont stop moving. I believe he thinks there to fast as well.

If they survive i will be putting anther 10-15 in the tank .. hope this works.

lol ya thats what im afraid of. I had a 5$ credit at the LFS, so curiosity got the best of me.

i use giant danios all the time some last some dont it helps to have a large deep tank (tall cuz the danio likes to go alter its swim pattern but in the end a good ambush will win every time

In my 125 i started a 2" FH in with 10 2" Giant Danios. It worked fine until the flower horn hit 8". At this point in life she took out 6 of the 10. By the time she was 10", 21/2 months later, she took out the others.

they were all around 3-4" when shje went on her killing spree as well. I even tried Rainbows, they died in one night.

here are some pics of her with the Gd's. Plus one after the terror was unleashed on them. by the way all of her killings happened while the lights were off. Not sure why.

Oh that's sad, I guess its just a matter of time then. One of mine has already gone missing. I'm going on vacation for 1 week and i dont accept to see the other two when i return to be honest.
