Anyone else have giant danios in as dither fish with their fahaka's? I started with 4 and now have about 20 little giant danio fry swimming around the top of the tank. I kinda thought my puffer would eat the danios, but he doesn't seem interested so far and now they are breeding.

Never seen it but I just got a 125 and am thinking about a Fahaka again and was looking at some zebra danios to school around if your make it maybe mine will too
How big is your tank??? and to be honest, you fahaka may not be showing much interest in them now only coz they are too small for him to care about, but as they grow don't be surprised if your fahaka decides they are taking up too much of his space and decide to pick a few / all of them off...
If the puffer's a killer, it really doesn't matter how fast his food swims--he'll get it eventually.
Tank is 125. My puffer has let one goldfish and the 4 giant danios live with it for a about 9 months now. I kind of thought they would get eaten right away, but they didn't. Anyway, it ads some nice movement to the tank, and I just thought it was funny that these fish are doing so well for so long in the same tank as a fahaka.
