Giant Gecko ?s

Really thinking of getting a giant gecko first question is does any one know where to get a Caledonia giant gecko? i might get one of those but i'm really looking into giant day geckos

I've been doing reserch and they don't seem hard to care for they need humidity around 70% and full spectrum light like all most all lizards and geckos Love to climb for food they will eat bugs and fruits

So my questions are what kind of fruits are goods for them ?

All the articles i've read say not to keep two males together what about a male and female ? Can you tell them apart ?

Is there any thing else to keep in mind or i need to know about these geckos ?

And lastly would you recomend a group of small day geckos or one-two ( if possible ) giant day geckos ?

Yeah thats about what i was expecting i think i may hold off on a maledonia gecko i'd buy a new tnak with $1000

Also i've found a few places with giant day geckos One being petsmart they all wan't around $100 good price for 1 ginat day gecko ?

yeah leachies are pricey but kingsnake always has them like reptech said but giant day can be territorial to other males so itd have to be only 1 male. but smaller male day geckos are also super territorial my male hates the sight of cresties lol but yeah like a 1.2 group of small days is good

I've seen them as low as $300 at shows. For a while I was considering getting one, but never did, although at some point the future, I really want one. I've never priced the giant day geckos

only go petco if its needing to be rescued and 100$ is a decent price for giant days but ive seen way better heres a good local site for me (got my standings from them) http://www.reproom.com/

As for madagascar day geckos you cant keep more than one copple thogeter...and that if they get along that is Both males and females will figth with animals of the same sex and some dont get along at all even with oposite sex As for fruits wich should be ofered about once or twice a week, mango, papaia, banana and honey blends work well. Ad some calcium and vitamins as well

ah lol my standing and my gold dust are odd they get along fine and sleep right next to eachother

there is also cgd and dgd i use a mix of both because cgd is fruittier

Well my friend you are lucky, really really lucky, some males dont even tolerate females and can kill them. What happens on your case its that they simply are disimilar enough to ignore each other, but I wouldnt put my money on it

So them with all day geckos its best to get only 1 ?

If i were to try and get a piar is there any way to sex them ?
