My albino gg around 6" died after I moved it together with a 10" rtgg

Now the pool is 600 g and the fish inside were
5 anabas
2 three spot gourami
1 oscar
1 tinfoil barb
1 paroon shark
4 koi
1 featherfin catfish
5 plecos
The rtgg is the largest in the pool but it never showed aggression even with the three spot gouramis 10x smaller than him, I guess because they're separate species, so I thought adding my giant gourami I grew out in a divider on the same pool would be fine and by the next morning it was dead! I never saw any fish fighting the albino gg but i suspect its the rtgg and now I think the pet shop mislabeled the fish and its probably a normal Giant gourami because I see no red coloration and giant gouramis are extremely aggressive with each other based on what I've read. Honestly its my bad not observing them further after adding the fish, I just didn't expect such a peaceful fish to become aggressive.
Has anyone kept two giant gouramis together successfully?

Yes albeit both mine were albino gg and both were females.

Aggression was more limited when smaller, under 10” . Then they could be quite nasty to each other but as they grew they understood a pecking order and that the boss was neither of them, it was the cats in the pond, so seemed to get on quite well. So much so that one moped for weeks when the other died.

I guess I'll just keep them from separate tanks if I get another one
