giant gourami HELP

please help my 22inch giant gourami lies on the bottom of my tank and plays dead but when he sees me or food he swims as normal it may be a coincedence but he did the same thing this time last year

Well if it did the same last year at the exact same time, then there's probably nothing to worry about, but don't hunt me down if it dies because all I keep is regular 6 inch gouramis.

Does the giant gourami come in a white form too?

As for color variations Ive seen white,a pinkish color,and recently picked up one labeled as a "Gold",which is about the same color as my red bay snook.

also there are the grey and red tailed varieties.

Yep there are white GGs, ive got a standard one and a red tail.
