Can someone help me identify what this is? I had separated him for 2-3 days cause he was being the aggressor in my community tank and I found him lying at the bottom and not moving and coming to the surface to gasp for air. Please help me identify what this condition is.. he’s red on head, near nose and the opening of the fin next to his gills

Could be septicemia.
I’ve used kanamycin and Metronidazole
In combination with 1 teaspoon of salt per gallon.
Septicemia is hard to treat and may not respond to medication if you wait too long.

I’m no fish doctor so do some more research.

I’d agree. Does look like septicemia. Check ur water quality. Kanamycin and maracyn2 are good options. Metro in combo will work. Salt helps.
