They will most likely fight in that size tank when they start to grow anyway. That fish is to big for that tank though.. That fish gets so ugly when it gets big. There are smaller much more rewarding fish to keep that you can have in that tank.

Every visitors that has seen my 22" GG, Snowflake, gets wide-eyed and drops their jaws when they first see him(?).20170301_195331.jpg
No one has ever commented how ugly it is. They get completely giddy when I give them some fruits to hand feed it.

If you had a flowerhorn or even a red tail GG people probably wouldnt even notice that fish besides saying what is that big ass ugly white fish over there.

Sorry, but not everyone likes flowerhorns, I personally dislike them and would rather have a 'big ass ugly white fish' then a hybrid fish with a hump on it's head(if I had the tank).

Of course everyone has their preferences. I dont like big aggressive fish like that. I'd rather have a few nice looking fish living together. GG get aggressive when they get big and the very least of it is that they will check a fish every so often. I've owned all these fish I've mentioned and I had a RTGG and a albino gg in the same tank and they would not live together. A 300 gallon tank. Last week I got rid of my RTGG that was 17-18 inches because he just wouldnt play nice and his bite is nasty at this point. I can see it being a great fish if it were just alone.
