Giant gouramy fungus?

Hey all... noticed this on my giant gouramy yesterday... anybody know what it is and how to cure?

darn, I think I noticed a spot of that on mine a few days ago. Watching this thread...

Blackwater extract, makes the water more acidic and natural. Try google it. I use it on my red tail GG. Prevent diseases and also brings out the coloration of your GG.

I don't know what it is, but I had lost two to this, and it was basically untreatable. It would go away, and then come back more aggressively. None of the other fish in the tank were affected. Very odd. The two that were lost, were just 3 inches, not larger ones.
I also see this on them in pet stores, too. Very strange.

Oh and maybe you can crank up the temp of your water (progressively to 30 deg celsius) and daily water change to speed up the recovery.
