I collected some pond plants and put them in my vase here at the desk. This morning, there are hydra everywhere. Most are small, like 1/2" or 3/4" but a few are actually in the 1" range. Is this common or did I find something crazy?
P.S. I was wrong about the tapeworm. He's actually doing fine and stays wrapped around the roots of plants eating...bacteria? Thought he was dead and rotten by now. How long can a tapeworm live without a host?!
