Giant Invasive Pleco

I know that pleco's have spread around the southern states, but this is ridiculous. This thing is massive

Dude got some nice scholarships out of it though, I wish I could get 10,000 dollars in scholarships for catching a fish

In no way do they have any redeeming qualities

They take over important habitats such as springs, push out and replace native species (including listed species and species of conservation concern), decimate native vegetation and undermine and destabilize banks

I forgot snakeheads and Carp were angels

There might be an opportunity there if someone could convince the State to pay people a reward to catch these invasive fishes or maybe process them to be sold as exotic food. I've seen on TV the South Americans put them on a BBQ. Once them are done, the skin peels right off and dinner is served.
