That Trout is HUGE....I couldnt see someone trying to have one in an aquarium. I've heard that trout are harder to keep anyway, water temp, current, etc.
It would be very hard to near impossible to keep a lake trout in a home aquarium! They often times end up dieing even when caught by hook and line because of the temp change. They like the extreme cold temps! Lake Trout and Burbot are some of the most difficult fish to keep in an aquarium. I even met a guy who even worked at the mystic aquarium and he said that they have tried many times to keep them but they always end up being unsuccessful.
