Hi.

Let us see what I bought myself now!!!

A Giant Mexican musk turle, wich is a native spices to southestern Mexico and Central America.

It is also know with the name of Three keeled turtle and in Mexico Tortuga Tres Lomos o Goao.

They can grow up to 16" of shell an are carnivorous. This spicies is rather exotic, you can hardy see it on sale in US:

Post some more late, have to go now....you know wife.....

Very nice! My local zoo has several large Staurotypus which I've always admired. Do you keep your bigger turtles in tanks or ponds?

Thank for you input guys.

Actually my turtles are small, less than 3" of shell, at this moment they live together but not for so long I am going to put them sepaartely and I have a couple of projects in mind regarding ponds or plywood tanks in advance.

Cheers.

I especially like the marbled pattern around the head. What part of Mexico are they native to?
