Giant mottled eel aggression? care?

Bought a 20 incher last friday and hes settling in ok...but is this species aggressive? Do they bite other fish in the tank?
One of my pbb had a bit tail and one of my siamese giant carp had a few scrapes too....
If anyone has any info on the species, please share
