I went to the bahooka restaurant in rosemead CA, that place is more of an aquarium than restaurant. Anyways they have a giant pacu at least 3 ft long and according to the owner 31 years old heres my vid the pacu is at the 2min mark, one of the biggest pacu ive seen

I have another video of the rest of the restaurant they have at least 60 tanks enjoy....

Keeping your fish tanks in your place of business is a great way to have a tax deductible hobby ;)

Despite the note that the Pacu wrote (lol), I still think he would be happier in a larger tank. But at 31 years old in the same tank I guess I can't say he "needs" a bigger one.

There is a fish store near Charlotte, NC that has a 34 year old Pacu (born the same year as me) and a 25 year old Red Tail Cat (born the same year as my ex). Their Pacu is in a 5' 150 gal (if I remember correctly) and the shop owner admits it would prefer a bigger tank. But again, at 34 years old in the same tank, who am I to say it "needs" a bigger one.

The Ripley's Aquarium in Myrtle Beach used to have 5 or 6 3'+ Pacus. Theirs were in a 1200 gal aquarium. They decided to get rid of them because they felt they needed a larger tank.

I'm glad that restraunt isn't in my town... I would go broke eating there 5 days a week :P

Thanks for sharing!

:iagree: That Pacu is a monster he is ready for a real big tank. He needs atleast a 48" wide tank. Theres a good looking Jag in that vid as well.
