they can be super aggressive seen a show on them awhile back thing was huge and attacking the keeper
No one keeps them, at least not legally (Outside a zoo or public aquarium). The closest thing is the closely related but much smaller (24") Hellbender (Cryptobranchus alleganiensis), found in America.
Care is very similar to the hellbender, fast flowing, clean, cold water....

i have caught one...but i really dought that it was a giant salamander it was close to 16" long it was dead and had a chunk takin out of it's side like a bass had attacked it
I've got Hellbenders living in the river near my house but I've never seen one. They like deeper, fastmoving water then I'd like to wade in.
Giant salamanders are from Japan (A. japonicus) and China (A. davidanius), so you got a Hellbender.
