My giant snakehead jumped out of the tank while I was at work, I put him back into the tank. Not sure how long he was out but he is dirty and took a hard fall. What should I do? I haven't added anything to the tank cause I know snakeheads don't do well with chemicals. I had a wood top and 2 very heavy rocks on top and he smashed through it somehow! hope he will be okay hes swimming but you can tell hes hurting some

Just keeping the water clean and let it heal on it's own is the best solution. I've had it happen with a few of my snakeheads and they have always recovered.
You had the right initial reaction don't add meds or salt , snakeheads don't like either. Just keep the water clean and maybe dim lights to help reduce stress and wait it out. They heal remarkably fast.
Snakeheads need a VERY secure lid they are escape artists and the Micros have alot of power to back that up!

Beast is doing well, swimming and eating well. Starting to heal already. Good thing! was nervous!
