Hey guys, I hope you enjoy this....

My girlfriend and I were giving her uncle a tour through the dental office she works at in central Kansas. The place is immaculately clean, and state of the art. Well as we were walking I looked down and saw this beast. I think it is the biggest damn wolf spider I have ever witnessed. We captured it and I told my girlfriend to get some alcohol wipes to knock it out. Unfortunately she grabbed cavicide and the spider was unintentionally euthanized :cry::cry:

Can someone give me a positive ID on this guy.

I recently stayed at a hotel with a wolf spider problem in the parking lot. But they were only 1-1&1/2 inches long. This gal was massive, it is a shame that I accidentally killed it :(

What you probably saw was a Fishing Spider ---XR---. Those things get HUGE, even bigger than wolf spiders! I have a picture of one crawling on my arm when I was in Ontario a few years ago. It was pretty creepy.
