im going to an lfs tommorow which has sturgeon about 6ft long sometimes if they have some ill take pics, once i went and a realy big one jumped out of the pool and it took me and 2 of the people who worked there to lift it back in.

Bridgemere in cheshire they only sometimes get the realy big ones in but they will normaly have them at least 4ft and they are £125 if i remember right, i got a 12" siberian from there for a tenner, their pond section is about the best ive seen and the tropical section is big but the general community fish are sometimes a bit undernourished but its great for arowanas last time i went they had 2 asians, silvers and a jardini its also great for cichlids

What species is the monster? I used to work at a farm with whites and the biggest we had was right around 4'. Moving her was at least a 2 person job. Not only is she heavy, but she does not enjoy being picked up and is VERY strong.

unfortunately i didnt get any pics of the sturgeon as you couldnt see them in the photos against the black on the bottom of the pool. They werent to big anyway the biggest was about 42". I got some other photos of other fish anyway. I would realy advise anyone who likes freshwater inverts to go as they have a new 20 tank freshwater invert system.
