Hi all MFK members

I am planing to build a gaingatic aquarium in my house. My set back is I am not sure what thickness of glass should I use if I were to install two pieces of 6' x 6' view glass.

Appreciate if anyone could give me some advice.

:):):):)

That's roughly 3300 gallons and to be honest I'm definitely not an expert but I think it will cost well into the $10,000+ range for two safe pieces of glass that size. Or maybe I'm thinking of acrylic. I would wait for others opinion....

Your best bet is to contact a supplier in your area, this is a very specialized field and they would actually know best.

I would talk to some glazers man, they could help you out.

I'm curious, where did you find these figures from, it may help other members too as we get alot of this type of question.
