From Down Under....

To be honest with you all, what I know about Aquarium/Fish Photography, you could scribble on the back of the World's smallest postage stamp! Having said that, I have browsed this excellent site and viewed some photos, that, at this stage of development, I can only dream of emulating.

My camera is a Sony Cyber-shot DSC - S90 4.1 Mega Pixels, which I assume is capable of doing a respectable job, as the manuals contain a plethora of information, but nothing specific regarding this type of photography, at least that I can find....

I sincerely hope that you Folks can help me out here and I look forward to becoming an established Member, who in time, can actually upload some photos worth viewing. ;)

Cheers

Billy

Billy, welcome. You will do fine. Here is what you need to do in order to succeed.

1. Read the manual and make sure you know every button and how to do everything we ask you to do.
2. Read through articles and photography 101, a lot of your answers will be there, answered for others.
3. Post some photographs, and let us critique them and ask you for specific info and learn from that.

Simple? :)

Nice to see another Aussie on the forum. Do a bit of reading of the articles, and also follow the threads. There's a lot of really good advice on this site, and best of all, the guys here are very friendly. No matter what your startingl evel you will improve . Go ahead and post some pics - as time goes by, you will notice your development.

Cheers, Frank
