My name is Clive I live in Silver Valley Nth Queensland Australia.
I am coming back to the aquarium hobby after a 30 year absence, and my, how things have changed. Years ago information on our hobby was very limited but the techonogy available today has changed all that, thank goodness.
Silver Valley is a yery small rural community 90 km SW of Cairns, we have 27 ha of land adjoining the Wild River which provides me with the most beautiful water for my plants and fish.
I am a retired Civil Engineer having spent some 35 years in Local Government, prior to that I was required to serve in the Australian Army for 2 years which included a 12 month posting to Sth Vietnam in 1968.
I am currently in the process of converting a 6m x 3m room in my winery into a fishroom.
I have always had an interest in photography but am amazed at the quality and beauty of the work I have seen on this site....I am here to learn from the experts.
