In a box of Pop Tarts!
Saw this on yahoo and thought I would share it. Any guesses on what kind of sharks he has and how big the tank is??

FROM YAHOO!!
It's necessary to point out, before we start pointing fingers and laughing, that the court battle between Gilbert Arenas(notes) and his former girlfriend is nothing to cackle over. There are children in the middle, and Gilbert's ex is trying to wrangle a settlement that is in the best interests of those children.
That said, wow. That's a lot of money you've spent, there, Gilbert Arenas. And even in the middle of a six-year, $111 million contract (that followed a six-year, nearly $64 million contract), there's absolutely no way Gilbert Arenas can keep up this lifestyle for much longer.
What lifestyle? According to court records obtained by the Washington Post, this lifestyle:
There's a lot about how Arenas spent his money, based on her understanding of the household finances: "he states he makes 1.5 million per month," read the notes. Arenas lavished plenty on their Great Falls home, dropping $100,000 on landscaping, $5,000 a month for housekeepers, $675 "per car" washing, and $1 million for his backyard pool and grotto. His sharks are expensive: $5,000 a month to feed them and $1,500 for a keeper to drive from Columbus to take care of them.
He was extravagant when it came to toys for the children -- ages 5, 4 and 2 -- buying a $60,000 train set and an $8,000 toy Mercedes-Benz electric car, and dropping between $30,000 and $40,000 during a shopping spree at FAO Schwartz. (Arenas also told this story on the blog, but didn't divulge the amount of money spent.)
"His sharks are expensive." Whoa, boy.
There is some debate as to whether or not Arenas, currently shooting under 40 percent from the field in Orlando while playing on a surgically reconstructed left knee, will even be able to play beyond his current contract, which expires in 2014. So this is just about it for him, and it's not a stretch to say that Arenas (though that contract is easily the league's worst) will be traded a few more times before the deal is done.
So please, Gilbert, let's refrain from building a shark-filled grotto in Orlando. And maybe look into goldfish futures, back in the District of Columbia.
Also, do right by the woman who is raising your kids. And say "hi" to the sharks for me.

I knew I saw this before here is an archived article on MFK about him and his tank

Ken Griffy jr used to have a huge tank Gilbert Arenas tried to buy his old one but it was to tall! here is a link I'll copy and paste the site and post the part that it talks about it.

Here check it out.
Gilbert in an interview- I always wanted a pool and then I also have the shark tanks in there. When I saw that part in the story, I knew who took the picture.

I’ve been in love with fish tanks and sharks for a while. (And not just shark jokes (http://www.fanhouse.com/2007/08/02/looks-like-gilbert-arenas-is-lifting-jokes-from-other-comedians/).) I actually bough Ken Griffey Jr.’s old tank online and have that in my living room. I knew somebody who was selling it in Orlando. Actually, the company ended up buying it back from me and building me another one for the same price because the old one was too tall. It was like 10 feet tall and there was too much water pressure to have it in my living room, or whatever, so they build me one that was rounder and shorter. I’m going to have exotic fish in there, a couple sharks, some black tips, some bonnet heads … that’s my mild tank.

Then I have the tank in the grotto that’s going to have semi-aggressive fish like lemon and leopard and puffer fish and the fish with poisonous spikes that’s in Deuce Bigalow.

Then I’ll have my personal shark tank that’s going to be in my basement. My basement used to be my weight room but I’m converting it to a shark tank. I cut a whole wall out down there and replaced it with a 10,000 gallon shark tank. That’s going to be my aggressive tank, only filled with bullhead sharks. If anybody knows what a bullhead shark is, it’s the No. 1 killing shark in America. It can go in salt water and it can go in fresh water. I’m going to have a salt water tank so I can have my eels and my stingrays too.

I’m going to have three bullheads in there. I originally wanted six, but the guy who has to clean it once a week said that he’s not going to get in the tank with six of them, he’ll get in with three. Once they get big enough, I’ll have to get rid of them. The guy who cleans the tank actually goes and catches the sharks himself, because you know, these sharks you can’t just go buy, they’re illegal.

How big will you let those sharks grow to. I know those sharks can get pretty big. Will even 10K be big enough?? Some people on this site have said that 10 is not even big enough for a black tip. Sound like a cool project in your basement. Do you have any picts of what you have done so far?

No way of knowing what sharks unless you have seen them or get a text description of them.

That post by Rockbass6 is a laughable joke. 10K tank for a group of 3 bull (not bullhead) sharks. They're illegal? NOTHING in the post is real or factual at all. LOL.

I was a bit skeptical in reading the post but I do have to say you never know what people have going on in there heads. He may be completely serious. I just want to see the video of the guy going in to clean the tank with the sharks in it lololol

Yeah - clearly this guy has more money than he has brains - especially when it comes to sharks.

Keeping Lemon Sharks and Leopard Sharks - together. That's just crazy.

Doesn't know the difference between a Bull Shark and a Bullhead (Horn Shark). Down right idiotic.

And likely doesn't have a shark tank - larger than a 10,000 gallon tank. Yet virtually every species - he listed requires a tank that is larger than 10,000 gallons to keep a single specimen alive for it's natural life span.

A single adult Leopard Shark will need more than a 10,000 gallon tank. An adult Bonnethead, needs a tank that is more than 14,000 gallons. A adult Blacktip reef needs a tank of at least 25,000 gallons. An adult Lemon shark needs a tank that is more than 50,000 gallons. And a single adult Bull shark needs a tank more than 100,000 gallons.
