Some guy at a store in north jersey had a small rtc in a tank by itself, my dad asked why it was in a tank by itself and if something was wrong with it and he says no its fine, and sells the 4 inch fish to my dad for $40.00.
NEVER am i going to shop at absolutley fish again. Stupid liars.
Anyway, what should i do to to treat gill curl, and don't tell me to search the forums before I post cause I wanted to share this story too.
help me plzzzzzzzzz with gill curl!

Extreamly good water conditions can sometimes reverse it, but most of the time they will have it for life. It does not affect the fish at all, and if you look around the forum you'll see that there are actually quite a few monster rtc's with gill curl that have grown up with it and are just fine and happy. I got my little rtc with gill curl on his right side, and i promise he is happy and healthy.

I think I have heard of people trimming the excess gill off of larger fish, but I wouldn't recomend putting the fishes life in danger for something purely cosmetic (though don't get me wrong, it is caused by poor water quality...but once its done its done)

No no! not 100%... thats a bit overboard... try a 25% twice a day, or 40-50% once a day and see how things are going...

I'm with you, I almost pooped myself when I saw 100% and water change in the same sentence. :WHOA: I've personally done 75% before, but wouldn't advise it. 100% would require removing the fish. What's already been said is sound advice though.
