Is there any cure for a gill curl? My young Kelberi has on one of his gills. He swims, eats, poops normal. Will it affect him in the future besides looks?

My raphael has one curled gill.. picked it up like that from lfs.. been a year with it and doesnt negatively affect it one bit.. not sure about a cure tho...

Good to know, thanks. If it won't hurt him in future I'm not worried about the look, just want him healthy. Read bunch of stuff, some day he won't get enough oxygen later and die, other sites have said it won't affect fish.
