Gill Flukes

Hi all,

I lost my 20" Tig a couple of months ago to what I think was flukes. I have since picked up a 10" and he's been doing fine but recently started swimming erratically similar to what the 20" did at first What's the best way to treat flukes, perhaps as a preventative just in case?

There's a few other options but Prazis always worked for me, when used added to food

On the cautionary side, one needs to be at least quasi-sure before medicating, that is have some confidence in the tentative diagnosis.

Tigs are said to be sensitive to their diet.
