gill infection in my arowanna

Not sure theu look like there flared up a bit an it breathing heavy,think I seen a lil.red worm lookin thing in the tank this morning also
Going to assume you've ruled out ammonia as that can cause breathing difficulty.
Have you tried to examine the gills?. Knowing if you have a parasite or bacteria infection would be crucial. I would advise a picture if possible, taking a good look, possibly with a flashlight and checking out some gill disease photos online.

Looks like a pimple on the inside of one gill idk,cant do pics yet,treating with salt till tomorow then the guy I got from is giving me meds for it an if it dies he will replace so we will see ill update asap
