I have a rainbow shark that has developed a white stuff (it doesn't seem like fungus but i could be wrong) over his gill. A week ago his gill turned red (I suspect ammonia burn as I had just switched the biowheel to a eheim canister) so I precautionarily treated it with a light dose of maracyn 2. Now it is even worse and it is actually affecting his eating and breathing. Anyone know what it is and what I should do?
