Gilled or spotted?

I have 2 available to me and would like to know what you guys think about them.

Probably spotted, the gilled African lungfish is apparently extremely rare in the trade. what size and prices are they?

Both are around 9" and they're $75 the one in the first pic has gills. I know some do have gills when they're smaller.

All of them do

Sounds like normal lungfish to me. If I recall correctly the gilled species is rarely exported

yeah the gilled is basically nonexistent in the hobby. Nice lungfish though, and good price

So you would think both would be a spotted sorry for the million questions all the ID threads no pictures come up for me

Yeah I believe they're both protopterus dolloi, but I admit I'm no expert. I've just been researching with plans to get one soon

I'm just assuming. And it certainly looks like the other lungs I see which are als Dolloi. I think a gilled would be a much higher price since they are practically never exported
