Gills and sizes

Is it normal that my delhzi still has some of his external gills at 4.5" ?

also when do you think it would be safe to move My del and my albino 5" in with my just over 8" sen? his growth has finally slowed down

my endli lost his ext. gills at 12 inches.
depends on the individual.

its fine to move the polys now.

I have a 6-8" weeksii that still has external gills.

I agree with channarox, you can move them now, i have a p. palmas palmas and p. palmas polli both about 4-5" in with 11 other bichirs the largest a p. endli congicus about 12". so you should be ok.
