Now that you guys helped me figure out to get him to eat i need help with food options. The guys i got him from was feeding tetra granules and I'm wanting to get him on something else. What did you guys feed yours when they were 5-6 inches.the granules just don't seem to be enough. Any help is appreciated.

Mine and those of others relish all kinds of pelleted foods - catfish, gamefish, koi, pleco, etc. pellets. At any age. They will even learn to come take them from the surface if they have to. But sinking is better.
