Giraffe catfish help

Hello everyone.

Please help, I have a giraffe catfish that got beaten up in my main tank, what could I do to help his tail? I have moved him to a different tank now

Super clean water, salt, time, and it should heal up. If tail gets infected, consider an antibiotic but it probably should recover fine without it

I agree with the above recommendations. For similar wounds I have had good results by adding API Melafix as it seems to promote faster healing and tissue re- growth in my experience. Looks like your catfish is an Auchenoglanis Biscutatus, one of my fave's...
