giraffe catfish varients?

are there any different variations in giraffe catfish or do they all look the same?

There are 2 recognized species of giraffe cats;

Auchenoglanis occidentalis

Auchenoglanis acuticeps

Related to these are the smaller wide-mouth cats of the Genus; Parauchenoglanis.

plan on keeping one of these with two syno cats(each a different species), three odoe pikes, a mbu puffer, and possibly a elephant nose and one bichir so I was wondering if the giraffe cat would be okay with ph around neutral 7.0

AFAIK, all giraffe cats (the real ones anyway, I'm not overly familiar with the Parauchenoglanis) can exist in neutral water. Some favor slightly acid water and some favor slightly alkaline water, but neutral water seems ok for everyone.
