giraffe catfish

just got myself a giraffe cat it's about 3 inches long and i was wondering what to feed it ,what size will it grow to and and what size tank will it need

my big fella is currently 19-20in and he eats basically anything (nightcrawlers, to little shrimp pellets). i got him already large though so not sure about your little guy but i'd say he won't be picky. i house mine in a 220 but i'm sure you could do smaller.

Get ready for your cat to get BIG. And it IS a catfish, so most likely it'll eat anything.

feed it sinking pellets, and the bigger the better for the tank.

My Giraffe is about 17" and eats large tetra cichlid sticks and sinking pelleted food. He fights for his share at the surface with the RTC, O, and a vieja. The Giraffe is a excellent scavenger vacuuming the gravel and shoveling it out his gills. Mine likes to play with the oscar and they are always sloshing water around. I'm not sure how long a grow out from 3" will take but you'll need as big of a tank with good filtration that you can afford.
