Hi all,
Just wondered what your g/bfriends think about your hobby.
My gf dislikes my obsession with mfk(got to check it everyday at least once), aquariums and fish. although she does like my fish just not me obsessing

my partner is an mfk'r...so he understands :D
 
My ex used to love the fish quite a bit. My new GF is the same way loves the fish and the tanks. I think she thinks my maintenance is a bit overkill but she hasn't said anything. And as far as monster fish keepers my new GF just cracks up she thinks its funny. She doesn't know I do most of my posting at work.
 
i had a girl leave me cuz i didnt want to hang out cuz i had to put a 55g tank in my room. then the next day i had to put water in then i had to put in gravel. then i had to set up my lights and filters the next day.
 
well my gf thinks that my MFK is funny and abit overkill but oh well....the fish on the other hand she loves and even helps me on the water changes, but then again we only have 1 tank and its a 115 gal. she even helps pick out fish and stares at them just as much as i do.
 
haha.. take me, get big fish.. its that simple.. fortunately I managed to sneak my girlfriend into the hobby by slightly manipulating her into getting a fish that just happened to be an endlie named tosse = little/cute critter.. unfortunately now she wants a rtc.. haha.. jokes on me.
 
My wife is pretty understanding. She really likes the red devil that we have had for seven years or so. She also tops off the 55, 210, and 300 on a regular basis. Oh, she doesn't even ***** about the amount of money I spend on the tanks. :)
