Girlfriend's ray died

Gave this ray to her for her birthday and he croaked today. The cause was a pink tailed characin stuck in his gut. Shes pretty bummed now but I'll get her another soon. The sad part is She had just taught it how take food from her hand about 3 weeks ago. Last 2 pics are of him with his bros and sis's before I picked him up.

howd a caracin get stuck ?

It was about 3" and he ate it tail first so the fins got caught on the way down. the ray was only about 6" disk.
