I'd like a bedside tank with some nice small fish/inverts in it. :)
I have a 10g, 5g, and 2.5g lying around, and want to use them.
The lids and lights are so amazingly crappy, I'm surprised the company even made them. The lights look completely yellow, the hoods are plasticy and bleh.
So, basically...Inspire me with ideas. Link me to some good hoods, or even canopies. Do they make them this small? haha
 
2.5g male giant beta, 5g group of female giant betas? or regular betas. 10g um exons!

Honestly, those fish are the most boring things on earth to me. Sorry :nilly:

I actually just thought of an idea for the 10g.
*Note - I only want to use one of these tanks. I was just giving you the range in sizes for a choice. :)
What about....A small colony of high grade crystal red shrimp with about 10 cardinal tetras? Maybe add some dwarf hairgrass and a few background plants with some driftwood in the center?
 
Also, how would I filter something like this?
 
You can get miniature i mean like Unbelievable small internal filters.
 
Are there any small external canister filters I could use?
 
Damnnnn. Think I could use the 10g tank as the display, and then the 5g for a sump? Or would that cost more than the eheim?
