im glad you held in there and didnt feed them until they took non live, otherwise they would of just starved for no reason, alot of the above advice is wrong, go figure alot of the incorrect was from people who dont even keep these, 9 inches until you starve them lol, my rio metas are barely 5 inches and they've already been threw the whole starving process and are now taking whatever pellet i throw in
