When my fish reached the point of being really really to big for my 60 gallon i rushed getting my 210 up and running. One step being reattaching the center glass piece along to top. I let it dry for a few days plus the time it took to build the stand and get in my room before running water in the system. Id say about 2 weeks after adding water the center glass came off on one side. But i got lucky when i raised my drain plugs so it only feel near a half foot or less. Now i have it proped up because i can't reglue it right now. And it leaves a nice open crack along the top so my arrows can splash all the way from my door to the window seal on the other side of the room. I guess that makes my room 100% chance that u could get wet at anytime. Not having the center glass probs makes my tank alot weaker too huh?

I don't understand usually a few days will be enough to let silicone dry. Although it depends on the thickness of the silicone and the enviroment. I suspect that you did not properly clean the contact area's.

It is adviseble to drain your tank and glue the brace again. They ain't there for looks ey.

I also agree, clean the surface to be glued using white vinegar before gluing

Alright, i cleaned it pretty good the first time around and used decent amount of glue, but i guess not enough. Also when i bought it off my friend, the glass wasn't in at all, but i could see where it was glued before. He must have had the same problem. Its also very heavy half inch glass. Maybe if i went with a thinker cut of glass it would help?

It would be safer to keep the thicker glass
