giving wolves a second go

well, i cant get em out of my head, i got a red wolf from tropical fish distributers about two months ago. first, i will never order from them again, the wolf came in with almost all its fins nipped off, and a bad case of ich. the stress from it all was too much and he didnt make it, died about a week later. im positive it was just all the stress from being attacked in whatever tank they had him in and the ich, he just couldnt make it. but now i really want to give it another go. what im planning is ive got his 75 gallon up and running for a while, i want to get one, have the lights off for the first 24 hours and do nothing to the tank for at least a week, other than having some rosy reds in there for when he feels hungry, im not gonna even touch the tank lol. so, as I have never seen any species of wolf fish in oregon anywhere, many lfs have never heard of them so i was wondering if anyone knows a very very very good dealer online i could get one from, maybe even one thats been in captivity for a while, i do not want to have another one die on me. i just need a very reputable dealer who can ship me a very healthy specemin, so, any ideas guys, i love em, watch youtube vids all the time, I WANT A WOLF FISH please help

thanks, i was thinking massive agression too, i also have one more question, i know people keep bichirs with ery ery . my question is should i move my 8 inch butterkoferi until the wolf gets used to everything, or just leave him in there?? any opinions on that?
 
I have had good experiences with Shark Aquarium....and they usually have many different types of wolves in stock. 75 gallon is a decent size tank...why not try a different species? ...or is your heart set on ery ery? You could get away with a juvenile mala or another larger growing species for a while in that tank before you have to upgrade...
 
i wanted an ery ery cause the 75 would be good for life and he could possibly have a couple tankmates
 
i got my last one from TFD, it died, arrived all beat up and had ich, id reccomend not getting one from them
