I have been reading on here for a while but finally decided to register officially :) I am from Austin, TX and always glad to meet other salt water geeks like myself either locally or online.

I have been doing salt water tanks for the last 10 or so years off and on. I currently have a 70g FOWLR salt tank, a 55g fresh tank and a tank with 2 yellow belly sliders (turtles). I will be buying a house in the next 16 months or so and finally be able to build the setup I have wanted for quite some time. Though a 70g tank isn't too bad for an apartment setup :) I had been playing with the idea of doing a 160g predator tank as a fall back but if all goes well, and the layout of the house allows for it, I want to do a 250g tank with a white spotted bamboo shark. It is within my budget and knowledge level so before anyone jumps on me about either, I'm not just jumping into a "ZOMG SHARKZ" tank without doing homework first and knowing what I am getting into, lol I have actually been researching it, pricing out equipment and drafting up sketches for a couple of years for doing a small fish room for the equipment and backside of the shark tank (I'd like to have the tank be "in wall" with the front flush on the wall and the backside sticking back into the equipment room.

Before I blab any more, hi and glad to be here :)

Welcome
