glass cover for sump?

Hello,

What is the best way or how can I get top cover for my sump to drill 2 hole?

I am useing acrylic for the top. and my sump need a top with 2 hole.

What is the best tools to use to drill. Does home depot can drill it for me?

what do you guys/girls use?

some pictures or step by step would be helpful thank.

if ur using glass tops well first u need a diamond hole saw there pretty cheap..then u have some sort of glass with a hole already in it, place that glass peice where u want to drill, fill with water and start drilling. once you have gone half way stop. continue to drill with out this and continue to feed the drill hole oth water and spin the drill bit side ways . either that or go to a fish tank shop where they make em and ask for them to drill a hole for you. its worth it as its less trouble. and qalso thicker glass drills easier 6mm and above is best.
