Glass cracked under presure.

I made the walls of my sump with thin sheets of glass, this was a no no. Today while sitting in my bed room I heard a pop and then the sound of water leaking. After I swallowed my heart I ran in the living room expecting the worst, a busted tank. Thank God it was only the dividing wall in the sump, which is not being used right now. SO lesson use thick glass for the sump walls also. any way no harm no foul. I will replace this sheet of glass and the other thin sheet tonight or tomorrow.

well it was the divider wall inside the sump, so no matter what the water would still be in the sump. My fear was that the sumps main glass shell cracked.

Definite lesson learned. Never cut corners when there's risk of serious damage.
