How do you cut glass? I saw a glass cutting kit at Home Depot and almost bought it. I have a cpl of projects I am thinking about and it could be helpful.
If you're scoring and snapping glass (vs. grinding or cutting), a thin oil will help your cut, especially if you have to back-score to get through enough material to snap the glass cleanly. Mineral oil is what the guys down at the glaziers use, and it's worked well for me in the past.
It definitively takes a few tries to get good at it, I suggest just cutting one piece over and over into smaller pieces until you get the hang of it and ruin a big piece.
