M mdb_talon Feeder Fish MFK Member Dec 9, 2008 358 0 0 ofallon, mo Feb 12, 2010 #4 Just another vote for vinegar. It kind of the "standard". PH Down can work also (more expensive than vinegar though). Oh and a razor blade usually will work fine for scraping the stubborn algae off. Then vinegar.
