glass knife - any info

Does anyone have any info on these guys? (I'm guessing Eigenmannia virescens). I'm thinking of getting a school for my 100g with a baby ray and maybe some discus. They seem to be fairly cheap but somewhat uncommon.

I'm particularly interested in personality (are they nocturnal, active during the day, shy etc,) feeding and growth rate.

mines awesome... he lives in a glass tube i put in my tank, love sit.. more active when the lights are out but he swims around when theyre on too, its generally peaceful, but they will defend their territory at times.. mine east blood worms, and brine shrimp and has even nipped at small pieces of earth worms, they just have very small mouths... they grow supposedly up to 16+ inches, but ive had mine for awhile now and he/shes grown like 2 inches in my 92G. they would be very peaceful towards each other in a school, and basically theyre awesome... heres an old pic of this glass knife in its acrylic tube before i got the glass chimneer to replace it..
