Around.....
I am deciding between a 60G acrylic and a 70G Glass... personally i have never owned an acrylic tank and was just wondering besides the light weight... which i really like and it scratches easy. But besides moving really when would it every get scratched??

Just looking for your opinion on the matter.

THANKS

i've seen this but it doesnt really discuss it a lot.....not in the first part i read...

A 70 gal glass tank is not that heavy so why go with acrylic for weight savings? Glass is cheaper. I feel glass has an easier access from the top than most acrylic tanks with a small cut out.
Gravel and certain fish/rays will scratch acrylic not just from moving.

well there both the same price lol...off craigslist. but i'm still not sure...

Considering its a smaller tank, weight is not an issue so I would definitely go for the glass, plus its an extra 10 gallons ;)

never again will i buy another acrylic tank. had a 100g get scratched to hell by a piece of gravel in the magfloat, and have had a 360g acrylic burst a seam on me.
