glass panels on cement block?

does anyone have any tips on adhering glass panels to a cement block tank?

I think this is done before but not directly in cement but steel placed in cement and glass panel on that steel. Search for mega aquarium build and you will see what I mean

I would definitely use a metal frame for the glass. The concrete block won't be smooth enough or flat enough....even with a coating on the concrete.

concrete + silicone + glass doesnt really work. +1 on the steel frame

alright thanks everyone just wasn't to sure if the glass could be glued straight to the block but everyone agrees that the metal frame will do the trick that's what im going with then, thanks again everyone..

Fixing the frame to the block going to be silicon? Would you embed the frame into the block first or silicon to glass then fit to concrete?
