Glass Patch on acrylic tank bottom

Need to break the silicon holding the glass to the acrylic bottom. Not sure I want to break glass. can not lift up edge of glass. picture from inside of tank.

Did you try a puddy knife?

Next attempt tomorrow with putty knife.

If it were me, I'd try that and work all seams evenly until it came loose. I wouldn't pry it hard. Some others use guitar strings to cut through silicon. So maybe when it starts coming up a hair, a guitar string could slide through to cut the silicone

Putter knife worked like a champ! 1st glass patch is off. Acrylic around hole is pristine. I have weldon and 1/4 acrylic coming in tomorrow.
