Glass Prep For Reseal

Hello all Quick Q. What are you using to prep your Glass after all silicone is removed.
I've read acetone but I've only have used rubbing alcohol in the past, is this acetone from the hardware store? Thx fish folks,I'm resealing the 400 and just want to get it cleeeean✌

I use alcohol and razor blades.
Always had good results.
I try to get the highest isopropyl I can find.

Thx for that yea the only issue I'm having now is finding it cause of all this madness its hard to find

Methyl hydrate works great; less (somewhat less...) toxic than acetone.

Yeah, I didn’t think of that being an issue.
Acetone will work. I use it everyday in my job just never with Aquarium reseal.
It will clean the glass and It evaporates completely like alcohol which is what you want in this situation.

Ahhh yes you answered my next question before I got it out witch is the vaporation,of course ill give I a good wipe down make sure its completely dry thx for the info people I appreciate it all till the next project...
